Last update before Torny and I board the plane to the Unova region!

For both of us it’s not the first flight but we never were on such a loooong one. Sadly, Torny is not allowed to stay with me out of his PokéBall due to his size and weight. Plus, once I’m on the plane, the ball-system doesn’t work anymore and so I also cannot call or recall it.
Torny already told me, that it’s okay for him but I know he would love to see the sunrise over the sea when we’re up there.. I will take some pictures for him.

As you may know, Torny and I are still in Goldenrod City. Currently we’re preparing everything for the flight to the Unova region. There’s really a bunch of stuff we still need to check and get. Hopefully we’ll be able to get everything done in time ^^;

Actually we wanted to leave New Bark Town already yesterday but the weather has been so badly lately, that we decided to wait another day. This night now was a bigger storm again and I’m glad we did wait and were not out in the wild. Today they also announced stronger wind and maybe even snow, but I need to get to Goldenrod City in time for the plane to the Unova region.

We reached New Bark Town and are at the Professor’s Lab now. Finally I could introduce my team to the rest of my pokémon. They were pretty astonished about how many I did already catch until now!

Slowly it’s getting x-mas. In all the cities and villages we passed so far on our way to New Bark Town we did see lots of lights, x-mas trees and could hear the familiar music.
Torny and I never really celebrated that day. As ya may know, we two did grow up alone. Sometimes we were invited to other families at x-mas but mostly it was just the two of us. And as soon as we set out to our journey we were always on the road at that time, also now.
Today however, we got into the sweet taste of x-mas ^^

As I mentioned two days ago in the twitter, there was an enormous thunderstorm ongoing yesterday and the night before. Quite a lot of rain and strong wind did wash and blow away everything that was not solid on the ground. Luckily we, my pokémon and myself, could get into a cave so we didn’t get blown away.
But not the wind nor the water were the big problem, it was the thunder that was really the strongest thing ongoing!
Everything started all nice and slowly…

On my way back to Hearthome City I came along the big and famous Pokémon Mansion. I already knew that here I would be able to see many rare pokémon, or at least rare for this region. For an unknown reason, many pokémon are gathering in the backyard of this mansion. Because there also stand many trophies from the owner of the mansion from his great days as pokémon coordinator, this garden is also known as the Trophy Garden. However, there are also some other trophies from other top-coordinators and trainers which did lend them for expositions.
The owner Mr. Backlot lets trainers like myself hunt for pokémon in his garden and he currently even allows to capture one pokémon! I just had to take the chance and went straight into the garden!

After the nice training yesterday with some local trainers and their water-type pokémon here in Pastoria City and the battle against some wild pokémon on Route 212 I decided to gave my pokémon a little rest and train on my own in the Great Marsh, the Safari Zone of the Sinnoh region. Alone because, as you probably know, in these zones you have to catch pokémon without the help of your own pokémon. I was sure this will help me to sharpen my view for the gym fight tomorrow and to train my body a little big again after long pause from hiking around.
