Round 01 vs. Jill – A hot Start

As promised, I try to inform ya all the time about my recent fights in the Suzuran Tournament!

This morning we were fighting against the trainer Jill. We held the “opening” fight today in the northern stadium!
The random terrain was not too random, we got the “normal” ground we normally have in gyms or on the training fields in pokémon centers.
Jill used her Infernape, Gabite and Rapidash. I countered them with Gan and Passy. So as you can see, I only used two pokémon, means I won the fight ^^

The Sinnoh League Suzuran Tournament

Yesterday evening was the opening ceremony of the Sinnoh League Suzuran Tournament. All of the 128 trainer which are taking part this year gathered in the center of the big stadium – including me. Charles Goodshow spoke to us trainers and wished us luck and fun for the upcoming fights.
Then the traditional Lavados – Torch got ignited by two trainer, a female and a male trainer. The Tournament had officially begun.
Now all the trainers appeared on the big screen inside the stadium and got mixed together into pairs for the first fighting round. My first opponent will be Jill, a female trainer from the Sinnoh Region.
A BIG firework ended the opening Ceremony.

What a storm!

As I mentioned two days ago in the twitter, there was an enormous thunderstorm ongoing yesterday and the night before. Quite a lot of rain and strong wind did wash and blow away everything that was not solid on the ground. Luckily we, my pokémon and myself, could get into a cave so we didn’t get blown away.
But not the wind nor the water were the big problem, it was the thunder that was really the strongest thing ongoing!
Everything started all nice and slowly…

On the way to the Sinnoh League Suzuran Tournament

The battle yesterday was awesome! It proved to me, how ready we are for the Sinnoh League. My Passy could win his first fight against Weavile without too big trouble. And Gan also could handle Froslass pretty well, despite of the strong attacks from it. But my Torny’s strength was unreachable for any of Candice’s pokémon.
Thanks a lot guys, you cannot believe how happy and proud I am as trainer of such a great team!

AIWHAAAAA!!!! XD

The Trophy Garden

On my way back to Hearthome City I came along the big and famous Pokémon Mansion. I already knew that here I would be able to see many rare pokémon, or at least rare for this region. For an unknown reason, many pokémon are gathering in the backyard of this mansion. Because there also stand many trophies from the owner of the mansion from his great days as pokémon coordinator, this garden is also known as the Trophy Garden. However, there are also some other trophies from other top-coordinators and trainers which did lend them for expositions.
The owner Mr. Backlot lets trainers like myself hunt for pokémon in his garden and he currently even allows to capture one pokémon! I just had to take the chance and went straight into the garden!

Safari in the Mud :D

After the nice training yesterday with some local trainers and their water-type pokémon here in Pastoria City and the battle against some wild pokémon on Route 212 I decided to gave my pokémon a little rest and train on my own in the Great Marsh, the Safari Zone of the Sinnoh region. Alone because, as you probably know, in these zones you have to catch pokémon without the help of your own pokémon. I was sure this will help me to sharpen my view for the gym fight tomorrow and to train my body a little big again after long pause from hiking around.

Of Shellos and Gastrodon!

A little later than firstly thought I reached Pastoria City. I had to take the back-route around the hotel grandlake because the beach was, and is still, a restricted area. Eggs of Shellos which were hidden in the sand did hatch due to the warm weather lately. And since there are not just a few but a LOT, plus some older Gastrodon which came to support them, the area had to be closed.
