We reached the entrance to the Chargestone Cave yesterday. As my PokéCommunicator told me, the way through the cave will take a few days! And as it also told me, that weekend will be really sunny and warm. So I decided that we’ll wait here in front of the cave until Monday when the weather is said to be a bit worse. Inside the cave it won’t matter too much. But getting a bit sun before the darkness will be really pleasant I think ^^

On my way here on route 6 I reached a small village with a really interesting laboratory: the Season Research Lab.
There they are making researches on the influence of the seasons to the different Pokémon. One really impressive example are the changes of the Deerling and the Sawsbuck to the four seasons in this region.

Yesterday we reached Driftveil City. It’s really close to the mountains and reminds me about my home pretty much. Just that here it’s a little more modern. My home Ecruteak City is more traditional ^^
The temperature also is a little lower here and that’s really nice. Soon we’ll be up at the mountains where it should be even colder.

We’ve reached the Driftveil Drawbridge today. On the other side of the bridge lies Driftveil City. However we are unable to cross it… There are annual maintenance going on and the bridge is closed for passing during that time. It’s said that they should be over by Thirsday evening so we won’t have to wait here too long.

It was a pretty spontaneous gym match today! Normally you first ask for that challenge and set the date to do it. However tonight was a special event in town where people could challenge the gym leader if they had the guts to do so!

Of course there were still the official battle rules. Elesa the gym leader accepted only three fights at most, two Pokémon in each fight. I am so happy that I did hear about that chance and was there early enough (as third) for my challenge!

Actually I wanted to write post this already yesterday evening but we were all so tired from the last part of the journey that I felt asleep while writing the post! XD

So we’ve reached Nimbasa City after a few days of traveling through the quite hot Desert Resort. Nothing special happened here. It’s just sand everywhere XD Then we came back to the dry Route 4. It took longer than I thought northwards because I did not calculate the quite big hills, well nearly mountains in between us and the next city. The climbing up there was quite a challenge after the last dry part but once we were at the top of the highest mountain we have been awarded with such an awesome view~

My Oshawott attacked the Darmanitan with a pretty strong Razor Shell! And then it happened, right when it was back in place to protect from counterattack it evolved! My Oshawott evolved into a Dewott!

Here on Route 4 in the desert we found yesterday a pretty big building site. A huge sign told me then that this shall soon be a new part of Castelia City. What fascinated me more were all the different Pokémon I could see working there. Timburr and its evolution Gurdurr were seen all over the place. Also I could see Roggenrola and Boldore for the first time! They helped with the stones and other heavy stuff to hold it or bring it from one place to another. It reminded me a lot about my home region where we work hand in hand with Machop and Machoke, Geodude and Graveler to build houses.
We were there looking around a little but then went on on our way.

What a great gym-fight yesterday! Burgh did not seem to stand a chance against my Pokémon and our tactic. Only my strong Torny did have to take a few really bad hits and is still resting in his ball from the poison attacks. He got an antidote and should be up and ready again in a day or two. I sure do worry about him but I also know that he can take it and wouldn’t want me to worry about him.
