An electric battle!

It was a pretty spontaneous gym match today! Normally you first ask for that challenge and set the date to do it. However tonight was a special event in town where people could challenge the gym leader if they had the guts to do so!

Of course there were still the official battle rules. Elesa the gym leader accepted only three fights at most, two Pokémon in each fight. I am so happy that I did hear about that chance and was there early enough (as third) for my challenge!

You can see its glowing from the distance

Actually I wanted to write post this already yesterday evening but we were all so tired from the last part of the journey that I felt asleep while writing the post! XD

So we’ve reached Nimbasa City after a few days of traveling through the quite hot Desert Resort. Nothing special happened here. It’s just sand everywhere XD Then we came back to the dry Route 4. It took longer than I thought northwards because I did not calculate the quite big hills, well nearly mountains in between us and the next city. The climbing up there was quite a challenge after the last dry part but once we were at the top of the highest mountain we have been awarded with such an awesome view~

On Route 4

Here on Route 4 in the desert we found yesterday a pretty big building site. A huge sign told me then that this shall soon be a new part of Castelia City. What fascinated me more were all the different Pokémon I could see working there. Timburr and its evolution Gurdurr were seen all over the place. Also I could see Roggenrola and Boldore for the first time! They helped with the stones and other heavy stuff to hold it or bring it from one place to another. It reminded me a lot about my home region where we work hand in hand with Machop and Machoke, Geodude and Graveler to build houses.
We were there looking around a little but then went on on our way.

Into the desert of Route 4

What a great gym-fight yesterday! Burgh did not seem to stand a chance against my Pokémon and our tactic. Only my strong Torny did have to take a few really bad hits and is still resting in his ball from the poison attacks. He got an antidote and should be up and ready again in a day or two. I sure do worry about him but I also know that he can take it and wouldn’t want me to worry about him.

Evolution and Car Driving

Castelia City is an enormous city! A lot of things are going on here and it’s special every day!

At the park in the center of the city are always trainer waiting for a nice battle. Yesterday I also went there to train a little and to battle. I found a guy who wanted to have a double-fight two vs. two. Of course I had to accept that challenge!
He did send in a Throh and a Sawk. They seem kinda similar but are to totally different Pokémon types. To counter that I did send in my Pansage and Faz.
The battle was amazing. My opponent had log time the upper hand of the battle and could control it pretty much. But then it happened… my Faz evolved from a Pidove into a Tranquill! This broke his rhythm and with the added strength we could defeat him!

A Trubbish attack!

As already written on my twitter, we did reach the Skyarrow Bridge around lunchtime. But we were not crossing it right away… There were more and more tracks of the Oshawott we were following for a few days! I just had to get one before we headed over to Castelia City!

The tracks led us to a small grove nearby. Behind it we found a paradise for water/land Pokémon! A beautiful lake, an imposing waterfall, many water plants and berry bushes – easy said I would go there too if I was an Oshawott! Expect that…

An Oshawott-Spoor

Tomorrow we should reach the Skyarrow Bridge and Castelia City! Already today we noticed that we are getting closer to the sea again. The air changed and got a more salty taste. Also the Pokémon here are more water- or half water-types now. Next to Ducklett and Swanna which I already did see we found Palpitoad the evolution of Tympole. And I even discovered a wild Panpour! However it escaped as soon as it noticed me ^^;
